Meet The Founder

Skrunchzbeads was founded during one of the most challenging times of my life. After the birth of my fifth daughter, I struggled with postpartum depression while navigating her health challenges and the loss of my job after 13 years.

Everything changed when I sat down with my six-year-old daughter to work on a beading kit she had received as a Christmas gift. In that moment, I discovered how therapeutic and meaningful creating by hand could be. What began as a personal form of healing soon inspired me to teach myself how to sew and create satin scrunchies designed specifically for beading.

Today, Skrunchzbeads creates personalized beaded scrunchies designed to celebrate life’s most special moments—from weddings and bridal parties to birthdays, graduations, and meaningful gifts. My mission is to inspire women and girls of all ages to embrace creativity, connection, and the beauty of creating something truly personal one bead at a time.
